【 Main Ingredients 】 Sodium sulfamethoxazole, trimethoprim

【 Appearance 】 This product is a colorless to slightly yellow clear liquid.

Pharmacological action: Antibacterial drug. Sulfonamide methoxypyrimidine has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and strong inhibitory effects on most Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Sulfonamide methoxypyrimidine exerts antibacterial effects by competing with para aminobenzoic acid for dihydrofolate synthase, hindering the synthesis of folate in sensitive bacteria. Trimethoprim inhibits dihydrofolate reductase, preventing dihydrofolate from being reduced to tetrahydrofolate and hindering folate metabolism and utilization in sensitive bacteria. The combination of the two can simultaneously block folate metabolism from two different stages, producing a synergistic antibacterial effect.

[Function and Use] Sulfonamide antibiotics. Used for respiratory, digestive, and urinary tract infections in pigs caused by sensitive bacteria.

[Usage and Dosage] Intramuscular injection: One dose, 0.2-0.3ml per 1kg body weight in pigs. Use 1-2 times a day for 2-3 consecutive days.

【 Adverse reactions 】 Excessive dosage can easily lead to acute poisoning, mainly manifested as symptoms such as nerve excitation, ataxia, anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea, as well as damage to hematopoietic function and urinary system.

【 Precautions 】

(1) This product should not be used in combination with Urotropin.

(2) Use with caution in animals with liver and kidney dysfunction.

(3) Intramuscular injection can cause local irritation.

(4) Pregnant and lactating livestock should be used with caution.
