【 Main Ingredients 】 Doramycin
[Appearance] Colorless or slightly yellow clear oily liquid.
【 Pharmacological Effects 】 Doramycin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug produced by fermentation of a newly recombinant strain of Streptomyces avermitilis. It has a good killing effect on internal and external parasites, especially certain nematodes (roundworms) and arthropods, but is ineffective against tapeworms, flukes, and protozoa. Its main mechanism of action is to increase the release of the inhibitory neurotransmitter gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the insect body, thereby blocking the transmission of neural signals, causing muscle cells to lose their ability to contract, and leading to the death of the insect body. The peripheral neurotransmitter of mammals is acetylcholine, which is not affected by Doramycin. Doramycin is not easily able to cross the blood-brain barrier, causing minimal damage to the central nervous system and is relatively safe for livestock.
